What is CAP Certification?

CAP= USA Volleyball's Coaching Accreditation Program (CAP).

Coaches and what they teach shape the future of players that look up to them for guidance. CAP is the certification resource for coaches to learn cutting-edge information in the areas of skill development, tactical systems, conditioning, motor learning, mental training and much more. Behind every great player is a great coach...behind every great coach is CAP. As it is with many professions, the more classes and training you have, the more likely you are to be up to speed with the latest thinking and best practices.

Owner/Head Coach Fabian Ardila

Coach Fabian "Fabe" Ardila has been the MGA club owner since 2011 and is well established in New England coaching for many years. In fact, Fabian was inducted into the MGVCA Volleyball Hall of Fame in 2018. Fabian is also currently on the board of the Massachusetts Volleyball Coaches association.
Fabian Ardila has coached Junior girls at Weston High School, The Rivers School and Wellesley High School. He has coached club volleyball for many years at the collegiate and national level at Babson College as well as the USAV High Performance and the Women’s National Olympic team earning him USA CAP 4 accreditation. He has coached boys at Wayland and Wellesley High Schools as well as club.
His mission at MGA is to provide players with solid coaching and a positive team experience at every practice and every event.

30+ years of coaching experience at the High School Varsity Level as well as 15 years coaching club.  Certifications include: IMPACT, currently working on CAP levels I and II.  CPR and AED certified.  

Currently the President of the Massachusetts Girls Volleyball Coaches Association (8 years). Host the annual MGVCA coaches clinic (March of every year), AVCA annual conference attendee
